Set up your laptop

Install the four tools we use: PostgreSQL (the database), pgAdmin 4 (see your data), VS Code (write SQL) and Git (save your work). Start by choosing your computer.

Windows

Windows 10 or 11.

Mac

macOS with Terminal.

Which option should I pick?

One-command install: you want it done fast and you are happy to watch it work. About 20 to 30 minutes, mostly waiting.
Manual, step by step: you want to understand each tool as it goes in, or the one-command install failed for you. One short video per tool.
